Access to personal information
Cunningham Lindsey is a service provider to the insurance market and handles a large amount of information including details about individuals. Our full range of activities has been notified under the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act) and can be viewed on the Information Commissioners web site.
Under the Act, individuals are entitled to see their personal data by making a “subject access request” in writing (email is also acceptable). The subject access request should be addressed to the person you have been dealing with in our organisation as this will speed up the identification process.

Evidence may then be requested to validate your identity and establish which part of our organisation is holding your data.
