Surveillance

We are fully conversant with the legal framework with which surveillance can be used. Our proposition has been built around the principles enshrined within the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA).

We only use resources with a Special Forces background to minimise the risk of any operation being compromised. Since we launched our service, none of our surveillance operatives have been identified. However, we are not complacent and recognise the reputational risks you could be exposed to were this to happen.

To ensure we provide a legally compliant service that:

We regularly provide refresher training to our operatives and audit the operational delivery.

In 2008 we undertook a twelvefold increase in surveillance operations on the previous year and we obtained footage in 95% of our operations. None of our operations were compromised and 50% of our operations led to the claim being repudiated (or significantly reduced).

Dependant upon the nature of the enquiry, we will use either static or mobile surveillance. Evidence is recorded in the form of a written surveillance log
supported by digital imagery. Core competencies, underpinning industry standards, are embedded in our operational process.
