What happens next? Five steps to a successful mediation.

Step 1 – Agree with all parties to mediate
Step 2 – Select your mediator or refer your case to us and we’ll help you choose a mediator that’s right for you
Step 3 – Agree a date, time and venue that convenient for you
Step 4 – Prepare a Case Summary and supporting documents and send to your mediator
Step 5 – The Mediator will review all documentation in preparation for the mediation

What will happen at the mediation? Five steps to a successful outcome.

Step 1 – Open with a joint meeting (not mandatory), so that everyone can have their say
Step 2 – Break out into closed sessions, in separate rooms for confidential meetings with the mediator
Step 3 – The Mediator will move between rooms facilitating discussion and negotiations between the parties
Step 4 – The Mediator may hold another joint meeting with all of the parties present
Step 5 – All issues are aired, a settlement begins to emerge and eventually agreement is reached
