Cunningham Lindsey appoints two Commercial Risk Division National Directors

MISSISSAUGA, ON - September 27, 2011 -  Cunningham Lindsey's Assistant Vice President, Commercial Risk Division (CRD) and Specialty Services. Mike Alwyn announced today the creation of two new National Director positions within their complex loss adjusting unit. 

"We've focused the management and leadership of our CRD unit by dividing it into Property and Liability, specifically under the direction of two new National Directors," said Alwyn. "By distinguishing between these two areas of expertise, we are better able to support our clients and our CRD adjusters when faced with these complex losses."

Holding these new positions are Andrew Hernandez, National Director - Property, Commercial Risk Division and introducing Doug Andrews, National Director - Liability, Commercial Risk Division. 

Mr. Hernandez moves into this new role from his position as Regional Manager within our Western operations. Having joined Cunningham Lindsey in October 2009, he brings over 22 years of insurance adjusting experience. Andrew's career has included many senior roles including Chief Operations Officer and Senior General Adjuster. He brings a wealth of complex property loss adjusting ranging from mining, course of construction and commercial property losses. The newest member of our CRD team, Doug Andrews brings over 30 years experience within the independent adjusting industry. With a specialty in liability losses, Doug has handled significant claims throughout his career including professional liability and medical malpractice, construction losses, products liability claims including class actions and financial institutions E&O losses. Doug has earned his Bachelors of Arts, Certified Risk Manager, and Certified Fraud Examiner designations.
