Those involved in the insurance industry will now have to play their part in the context of the reconstruction of Japan, and Cunningham Lindsey have prepared a response plan around the ever changing situation on the ground there.
All will be aware of the difficulties that the country is having to deal with in terms of infrastructure damage and water/electricity shortages, all of which are severely hampering the recovery effort. In conjunction with our associate office in Japan, Nagamatsu Inc., we are continuously assessing the situation.
Throughout this uncertain time we realise our clients will need assistance, especially with adjusting support, and the first of our CAT team members should be arriving in Tokyo in the next few days to support both Nagamatsu and our international clients, these extra regional resources will be committed when they are able to be most effective.
Stuart Devine, Regional Manager for South-East Asia, will be co-ordinating our response on the ground in conjunction with Nagamatsu Inc. and have been in regular contact over the weekend and will be in the days to come. We also have an adjuster in Hawaii assessing claims there.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if we can be of any assistance.
