Must be computer literate and experienced with MS Office. The candidate should also be capable of utilizing automated property estimating software. (MSB Integriclaim, Xactimate and/or Simsol). As a member of our Core Group of adjusters, you will be assigned to assist our branch offices and our catastrophe department throughout the United States. While our Core Group team is centered in Dallas, TX, we welcome candidates from other states as well.
The selected candidate must have excellent customer service skills, be dependable, self motivated, and have a minimum of 2 years of solid work experience preferably adjusting claims. A college degree is preferred, however equivalent work experience will be considered. You should be qualified to use automated property estimating software (MSB Integriclaim and/or Xactimate). Prior experience as an adjuster with an Independent Adjusting Firm would be helpful, but not necessary.
Ideally, you will have a background in insurance, construction, real estate, estimating or other field where a combination of customer service skills and technical knowledge is required.
This position requires extensive travel (almost 100%) and requires being away from home for weeks at a time. You must be able to carry and set up a ladder. Roof climbing is required.
