In 1992, Stuart joined a provincial office of Cunningham Hart (UK) Ltd before joining a small specialist CAR/EAR team and then eventually being seconded to the Home Foreign team.

Stuart joined Cunningham International's Home Foreign team in July 1996 before being appointed to the Thailand office in October that same year as Technical Manager, having qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). He completed the examinations and qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (ACILA) in January 2000, gaining Fellowship in 2005.

In April 2001, Stuart was transferred to the New York office of Cunningham Lindsey International. From this base, he travelled extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, dealing mainly with large energy claims involving gas & steam turbines, renewable energy and transformers.

Stuart was heavily involved in the World Trade Center disaster which struck New York in September 2001 and dealt with claims ranging from US$20m to US$100m arising therefrom.

Stuart took over as President Director of our Indonesian operation in July 2002. During this time he was appointed on several high profile claims involving the bombing of the JW Marriot Hotel in Jakarta and a substantial explosion and fire in a petrochemicals plant in Surabaya, before moving to his current role as Managing Director of our Thailand Office in September 2004. Stuart is also the Regional Manager of Cunningham Lindsey International's South-East Asia operations.
