Gareth commenced his loss adjusting profession in the UK in late 1983, joining a large international loss adjusting firm.

After obtaining a secure loss adjusting foundation, Gareth moved to an international company in Bahrain as an assistant to the Regional Director in 1993. Gareth had responsibility for losses mainly in Bahrain and Jordan, but also ccovered Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Syria and Egypt. Gareth was required to travel extensively dealing with the varied portfolio of claims including CAR, Marine, Engineering, Public and Product Liability, Theft, Bankers Blanket, Fidelity and Business Interruption.

Gareth qualified ACILA in 1994 following the Property and BI route, and acquired fellowship status in March 1999.

In November 1996, Gareth moved to Thailand as a Technical Manager to an international company and was promoted in November 1998 to the position of Manager, then subsequently Managing Director.  Subsequent, Gareth was involved in the organisation of the joint venture between an international and a local based loss adjusting company and throughout that period concentrated more on project marine, property and business interruption, although handling a caseload including Oil, Petrochemical and Machinery Breakdown claims.

Gareth joined Cunningham Lindsey Thailand on 1 July 2005 as part of the company expansion program designed to increase and improve the country profile.  Gareth works alongside the current Regional Director for South-East Asia and on 1 September 2008, assumed the role as Managing Director of Cunningham Lindsey Thailand.
