Saudi Arabia Floods

On 25 November 2009, torrential rain hit western parts of Saudi Arabia causing unprecedented flooding in Jeddah, Rabigh and Mecca.

The heavy rainfall caused buildings and bridges to collapse bringing the country's infrastructure to a stand still.

More than 100 people have been killed with many more reported missing.
