In this exciting role, the successful candidate will be working within our finance department and reporting directly to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. This is a challenging and demanding role requiring a diverse range of finance, accounting and payroll knowledge. The candidate will be responsible for running the bonus and commissions calculations, trust accounting, monthly internal reporting, budgeting and variance analysis.

Our ideal candidate will have completed a Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, accounting or finance from a recognized Canadian institution. In addition the candidate will be enrolled in or have completed a recognized accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CA or CPA). Prior experience in payroll, trust accounting, budgeting with a minimum of three (3) years' work experience within a finance or accounting department is considered an asset.

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to quickly learn new tasks and information systems, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

The candidate will also possess superior organizational skills coupled with the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with multiple deadlines. Previous involvement within the insurance industry along with experienced usage of HFM, SAP and data mining programs will be considered an asset, although it is not required.

Weekend Supervisor Call Centre – Hamilton, ON

In this exciting full time role, you will be responsible for growing, managing and motivating a professional team. It will cover all weekend and holiday shifts and will cross over in to weekday shifts.

The successful candidate will oversee the four key drivers of our business: Revenue, efficiency, client satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. Other specific tasks include the following:

  • Roster check/ Attendance. Are all scheduled staff present and on time?
  • Address deficiencies: Call in more staff if agents are sick, recommend scheduling changes to meet call arrival patterns
  • Shift briefings: Face to face individual and small group meetings. Short duration. Insure the staff are aware of any and all announcements and updates
  • Real time coaching: A minimum of 5 real time coaching sessions where the supervisor plugs into the agents' phones to listen to live calls and provide feedback to the agent on the calls including but not limited to process, use of call centre tools (Tracking inquiries correctly) soft skills and content of claims and inquiries.
  • Complete a call audit form for each call. There should be a mix of claims and inquiry calls
  • Shift end report: Service level, abandonment rate, challenges and successes during the shift, recommendations, possible complaint issues. This will keep the management team in touch with each shift and minimize surprises.
  • Take calls and QC

As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing computer hardware and software support to Cunningham Lindsey employees. This role is located in our Mississauga Head Office location and is part of our North American support team.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years of experience working in a help desk/customer service environment and have advanced knowledge of computer hardware and software, particularly Windows XP/Windows 7 and Microsoft Office. Post-secondary education in computer science/information and fluency in French and English are important. Superior interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to be successful in this role; a basic understanding of the insurance adjusting industry and a background in insurance would be considered an asset, although is not required.

Bilingual Customer Service Representatives - Hamilton, ON

We currently have openings for multiple Bilingual Customer Service Representative for our Cunningham Lindsey Intake Solutions office in Hamilton, ON.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling emergency after-hours calls for property and automobile insurance claims at our state-of-the-art call centre based in downtown Hamilton, ON. 

The successful candidate will be fluently bilingual in English and French (oral and written) as well as be proficient in Windows 7/Vista/XP and Microsoft Office 2007/2010.  They will also have excellent typing skills and have previous experience dealing with customers. Preference will be given to candidates with previous call centre experience.  No insurance experience is necessary! 

Applicants for full time must be available to work rotating day/night shifts.  All part time applicants must be available to work 12 hour shifts and be available to work all holidays and weekends.
