This morning the Thai army stormed the protesters' camp as armoured vehicles began smashing down barricades. At the time of writing Red leaders have surrendered but it seems as though some protesters are continuing by setting fire to buildings with confirmed reports of the Metropolitan Electricity office in Klongtoey being torched. There has also been a very recent confirmed report of Ch.3 TV Maleenon Building at Rama 4 Rd being set on fire.
The Government has now extended the public holiday until Friday to allow more time to resolve the crisis.
With the continued crackdown and uncertainty, our office in Bangkok remains closed for the time being, as our office is on the edge of the protest area. It will be appreciated that the safety of our colleagues remains the first priority. Nonetheless our team of adjusters are standing by to undertake assignments in the affected areas as soon as it is safe to do so and are contactable by mobile telephone.
