3 Dec 10
This prestigious event, held at Trinity House, was attended by over 100 people active in the marine market, namely, brokers, underwriters and lawyers.
Ton Schox, Global Marine Practice Leader commented, "London is the world's leading centre for marine insurance. The insurers are able to handle the insurance needs of the shipping community around the world and therefore have a strong correlation to the way our practice group is structured. Like the London market we have 110 marine surveyors, placed in over 35 countires in 47 offices, ready to to respond to any marine related claim. London was therefore an ideal place to hold this reception."
We believe in a consistent approach
Prior to our client reception, the Global marine practice team leaders from over 26 countries discussed a range of topics including using a intranet tool to aid collaboration, global service, quality and training. This meeting was designed to ensure that we deliver a consistent approach to our clients across the globe.
It was also agreed, at the meeting that a training session would be held in the United States, Vale, Arlington the first week of December. (This is to train six employees strategically located at the West side of the United States, this follows an earlier training session of five employees located at the East side).
